SUBJECT: Change in BOCC Regular Meeting Schedule for 2010

PURPOSE: To consider one change in the County Commissioners' regular meeting calendar
for year 2010.
BACKGROUND: Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A-40, the Board of County
Commissioners must fix the time and place of its meetings or provide a notice of any change in
the Regular Meeting Schedule by:
• Adding a location for the Orange County Assembly of Governments Meeting, which
is scheduled for Thursday, September 16, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. and will be held at the
Southern Human Services Center, 2501 Homestead Road, in Chapel Hill.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: NONE
RECOMMENDATION (S): The Manager recommends the Board amend its regular meeting
calendar for 2010 by:
• Adding a location for the Orange County Assembly of Governments Meeting, which
is scheduled for Thursday, September 16, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. and will be held at the
Southern Human Services Center, 2501 Homestead Road, in Chapel Hill.
