Donna,
The sooner the better.August 17th would be great.
Tamera Oxley was suggested to fill the remaining term of Audra Marotta who resigned (because she took a job
out-of-state).
Jae Furman was suggested to fill the remaining term of Rachel Lillis who resigned (because of her work
schedule).
Audra Marotta would like to come back on the board (she's now working in state), taking the place of Alice
Levinson who resigned (her current term expired on March 31, 2010).
I think these are the ones you knew about.
In addition, Wendy Gellert has also resigned (due to health issues). I will forward to you her resignation email.
Other folks with expired terms (expired March 31, 2010)are Gordon Jameson, Mary Harley Kruter, and Bronwyn
Merritt. Do you want me to ask them if they would like to be reappointed for another term?
Please advise.
Martha

I am a budding artist and I am looking for opportunities to be involved with art
awareness and artist development. I am currently active in visual arts; however, I have
performing arts (dance) at the Durham Art Council and the Hayti Heritage center in
Durham for over 8 years.-----Regarding Human Relations or affordable housing
committees through my profession I am very involved with and concerned about equity
and social justice issues. Most of all, I look forward to opportunities to become more
active in my local community for the common good. STAFF COMMENTS: Originally
