PURPOSE: To consider two change in the County Commissioners' regular meeting calendar
for year 2010.
BACKGROUND: Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A-40, the Board of County
Commissioners must fix the time and place of its meetings or provide a notice of any change in
the Regular Meeting Schedule by:
Adding a location for the Orange County Assembly of Governments Meeting, which
is scheduled for Thursday, September 16, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. and will be held at the
Orange County Campus of Durham Tech, Room 201 525 College Park Road,
Hillsborough, NC
Adding a Joint Meeting with the City of Mebane on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at
7:00 p.m. at Mebane City Hall, 106 E. Washington Street, Mebane, NC
FINANCIAL IMPACT: NONE
RECOMMENDATION (S): The Manager recommends the Board amend its regular meeting
calendar for 2010 by:
Adding a location for the Orange County Assembly of Governments Meeting, which
is scheduled for Thursday, September 16, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. and will be held at the
Orange County Campus of Durham Tech, Room 201, 525 College Park Road,
Hillsborough, NC 27278
Adding a Joint Meeting with the City of Mebane on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at
7:00 p.m. at Mebane City Hall, 106 E. Washington Street, Mebane, NC
