Fikes TELEPHONE NUMBERS: - - egt. 2490 Mebane 227-2Q31 PURPOSE: To approve the impact fee reimbursement request from Habitat for Humanity in the amount of $6,000. BACKGROUND: On November 1, 1995, the BOCC approved a policy for impact fee reimbursement to local non- profit organizations meeting the established eligibility criteria. The County has received a reimbursement request from Habitat for Humanity of Orange County. Specifically, the agency is asking for $6,000 in reimbursement for impact fees paid for five houses that under construction. The houses aze located at the following addresses: 1. 821 Ferguson Road, Chapel Hill; (Orange County Schools - $750) (Family of two (2); Annual Income: $16,480) 2. Lot 4, Efland Estates Subdivision; (Orange County Schools - $750) (Family of two (2); Annual Income: $22,940) 3. Lot 5, Efland Estates Subdivision; (Orange County Schools - $754) (Family of four (3); Annual Income: $27,000} 4 . Lot 7, Efland Estates Subdivision;(Orange County Schools - $750) (Family of four (4); Annual Income: $26,000) 5. Lot 24, Culbreth Park, Chapel Hill; (Chapel HilUCarrboro Schools - $3,000) (Family of three (3); Annual Income: $19,843) There is a line-item in the current year budget for impact fee reimbursements. The current balance is $66,400. RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends approval of the impact fee reimbursement request from Habitat for Humanity in the amount of $6,000.
