B. PUBLIC CHARGE
The Board of Commissioners pledges to the citizens of Orange County its respect. The
Boazd asks its citizens to conduct themselves in a respectful, courteous manner, both with
the Boazd and with fellow citizens. At any time should any member of the Boazd or any
citizen fail to observe this public charge, tre Chair will ask the offending member to
leave the meeting until that individual regains personal control. Should decorum fail to
be restored, the Chair will recess ahe meeting until such time that a genuine commitment
to this public charge is observed..

Noje: The Planning Board will make a recommendation no sooner than its meeting on July 1, y~_ ~
1998. The Historic Preservation Commission will make a recommendation at its meeting on
May 27, 1998. The Board of County Commissioners will consider recommendations no
sooner than June 22, 1998, for historic landmarks and no sooner than August 11, 1998, for
Zoning Atlas amendments.

a. 1998-99 Commissioners' Goals
The Board will discuss proposed goals for fiscal year 1998-99.
b. Orange County Public Library - Carrboro Branch
The Board will hear a report on services provided by the Orange County Public Library - Carrboro
Branch.
c. Living Wage Ordinance
The Board will hear a report on a proposed Living Wage Ordinance, which would establish a minimum
wage level for certain firms doing business with County government.
d. User Fee Review
The Board will receive the second in a series of reports on proposed adjustments to the County's user
fee schedule.
