Be it ordained by the Orange County Board of County Commissioners that pursuant to Sectioa 13.2
of Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, the following capital project is hereby
adopted.
Section 1. The project authorized provides funds to renovate and upgrade the Chapel Hill High School
Cultural Arts Building built in 1977. This project will be financed with proceeds from 1997
Local Bond Issue funds, transfers from general funds (sales tax previously allocated to other
CHCCS projects) and recurring capital budget.
Section Z. The officers of the County are hereby directed to proceed with the project within the budget
contained herein.

Section 5. This ordinance shall remain in effect from July 1, 1997 until June 3Q,.1998.
