PURPOSE: To consider a petition from NCDOT for approval of Ne addition of Wagon Fann Road
avd Wagon Fmm Court in Ne Wagon Farm Trail Subdivision, Cheeks TownsNp to the
State-maintained Secondary Road System.
BACKGROUND: The citimns who live along Wagon Farm Road and Wegon Farts Court have petitioned
NCDOi to accept maintenance respomibilities for Wagon Farts Road and Wagon Fann
Cotul. NCDOT has investigated this request (see attached Secondary Road Addition
Repon) and haz submitted a petition for Ne addition of Wegon Fann Road and Wegon
Farm Coun to the Board of Commissioners for tbeir review and approval.
The Board's decision will be forwmded m the NA. Board of Transportation for their
deliberation on acceptance of the roads to the Smtcmaintained Secondary Road Sysem.
RECOMMENDATION: TM administration recnmmrnds appmval vfthe addition of Wagon Faun Road
avd Wagon Fmm Cam to the State-maintained Secondary Road System.
