PURPOSE: To consider a petition from NC DOT for approval ofthe additi on of Preerou
Loop m the Clearview Subdivisioq Cheeks Towvvhip ro dre State-maintained
Secondary Road Sysem.
BACKGROUND: The citizens tba[ live alovg Prearon Loop have petitioned NC DOT to accept the
einmtmnce responsibilities for they road. NC DOT has investigatN this rryuest
(see almchM Secondary Road Addition Report) wd have submittN the petition
for the addition to the Bvatd ofCommissioners for Neir review and approval.
The Board's decisiov will be forwmdN to Ne N.C. BoaN of Tmnsponation for
their delibttation on accepmnce of the road m dre State-maintained Secondary
Road System.
RECOMMENDATION: The Administration recommends approval of the additives of Prestav Laop to the
Stare-mainaived Secondary Road System.
