PURPOSE: To receive the jail inspection report for Judy 9,1998, from the Nadia Carolina
Deparmsent of Human Resources,
BACKGROUND: The General Scamtes require the Board of County Commissioners to receive and cake
necessary corrective action to the semi- armual jail inspection reports submitted by the
NoMCarolim DeparmrentofHuman Resources. The salute further sates chat the
governing body shell promptly initiate any action necessary to bringjail facilities into
conformity to sandards. The report for July 9,1998, is enclosed for review, and
indicates our compliance with standards.
RECOMMENDATION: The Manager recommends dust the Board of Commissioners receive dte report.
Corrective action is being taken as required.
