positive change m Ne compositions of the White House, state houses, couMwses and
1«al assembly balls Nroughout the country; and
WHEREAS, Ne courage, commitment and political accomplishments of women serve
a testament m all oNer prev ausly disenfmnchisM cifuxns of Ne value in exercising
one's dgh[ and duty N vote;
NOW THEREFORE, Ne Omnge County Hoard of Commissioners hereby
pr«laims Wednesday, August 26, as Women's Fgaaliry Day in wmmemomtion of the
suffrage victory won by women, and hereby urges women and all citizens to exercise
their right ro vote, end commends Ne Commission [or Women [or its eootiouing efforts
towards one day gaiNng full equality for women.
