Attention Builders, Developers,
and Architects:
The Orange Regional Landfill Owners Group will hold a public
hearing on construction and demolition waste management includin~
locations for siting a construction and demolition (C&D) landfill and
recycling facility in Orange County. The hearing presents an
opportunity for public comment on these potential sites and our
county's need for construction and demolition waste management.
CD #1, located along the east side of Old
Highway 86, north of Duke University property
• A northern expansion of the existing C&D
facility onto the adjacent Blackwood and two
other properties
• The publicly owned Greene tract, located
adjacent to the southeast corner of the South
Eubanks Road landfill
These sites are being considered for C&D waste only, not munici al waste.
