PURPOSE: To change tax abstracts and tax records pursuant to GS 105 -325.
BACKGROUND: General Statute 105 -325 (a)(6)
Action of Governing Body - "... when the assessor reports to the board that, since
adjournment of the board of equalization and review, facts have come to his attention
that render it advisable to raise or lower the appraisal of some particular property of a
given taxpayer in the then current calendar year."
RECOMMENDATION: The manager recommends the attached value changes be
approved.

VALUE CHANGE RESOLUTION
Whereas, North Carolina General Statutes 105 -325 empowers the Board of County
Commissioners to order changes to tax records after the Board of Equalization and Review has
adjourned; and
Whereas, the Board of Equalization and Review has adjourned for this year.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF ORANGE COUNTY THAT the recommended property tax value changes are
ordered.
