PURPOSE: To officially cancel a meeting listed on the regular meeting
calendar and to amend the 1999 BOCC regular meeting schedule.
BACKGROUND: Because the oaths of office must be taken on the first
Monday in December, the goal setting retreat will be changed from
December 5, 1998 to January 16, 1999.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve canceling the December 5, 1998 meeting and
.amending the 1999 meeting calendar adding January 16, 1999 for the BOCC
goal setting retreat to be held at the Southern Human Services Center
beginning at 9:00 a.m.
