BACKGROUND: Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A-40, the Board of County Commissioners must fix the time and place of its meetings or provide a notice of any change in the Regular Meeting Schedule. The County Commissioners have a regular meeting scheduled for June 29, 2000 beginning at 7:30 p.m. Because of the length of that agenda, the meeting will begin at 6 p.m. The location remains the same-the Southern Human Services Center in Chapel Hill.
