SUBJECT: Boards/Commissions/Task Forces To Be Dissolved

PURPOSE: To dissolve those boards/commissions/task forces which are no longer active
because their charge has been completed.
BACKGROUND: The Clerk's office maintains a database with the list of all
boards/commissions/task forces and all of the names of the residents who serve on these
various County-appointed boards. As part of the Board's review of the boards/commissions
listing, it was found that some have finished their tasks and need to be dissolved. Those are as
follows:
• Hollow Rock Park Planning Committee
• New Hope Park at Blackwood Farm Master Planning Taskforce
• Twin Creeks Work Group
Any of these dissolved boards can be reactivated at any time by Board action.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: NONE
RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends the Board approve the dissolved list of
boards/commissions/task forces which are no longer active because their charge has been
completed.
