SUBJECT: Change in BOCC Re ular Meetin Schedule for 2010

PURPOSE: To consider two changes in the County Commissioners' regular meeting calendar
for year 2010.
BACKGROUND: Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A-40, the Board of County
Commissioners must fix the time and place of its meetings or provide a notice of any change in
the Regular Meeting Schedule by:
• Adding a BOCC Mini Retreat on Friday, February 19, 2010 at Southern Human Services
Center, from 9:OOam to 1:OOpm.; and,
• Adding a location for the February 22"d, 2010 BOCC Legislative Breakfast meeting which
will be held at the N.C. Botanical Gardens Education Center, Seminar Room, 100 Old
Mason Farm Road, Chapel Hill, beginning at 8:OOam.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: None
RECOMMENDATION (S): The Manager recommends the Board amend its regular meeting
calendar for 2010 by:
• Adding a BOCC Mini Retreat on Friday, February 19, 2010 at Southern Human Services
Center, from 9:OOam to 1:OOpm.; and,
• Adding a location for the February 22"d, 2010 BOCC Legislative Breakfast meeting which
