BACKGROUND: The Clerk's office has received a recommendation from the Town of Carrboro for Katherine Brooks. If appointed Ms. Brooks will serve her first term ending 6/30/2012. (At the September 15, 2009 BOCC meeting two individuals were appointed to the Town of Carrboro and the Town of Chapel Hill positions on ASAB, without a resolution from the Towns due to miscommunication between staffs.) The Clerk's office has since notified both individuals of the mistake and are working to rectify this situation with the Town Clerks.) The Town of Chapel Hill resolution. is forthcoming. The Board of Aldermen hereby requests that the Orange County Board of Commissioners appoint Ms. Katherine Brooks as Carrboro's representative on the Orange County Animal Services Advisory Board.
