BACKGROUND: The Clerk's office has received recommendations from the Adult Care Home Community Advisory Committee for Thomas Olson, Sandra Dove, Richard Gross and Barbara Hardison. If appointed they will be serving aone-year training term, which will end on 10/30/2010. FINANCIAL IMPACT: None. RECOMMENDATION(S): Consider making new appointments to the Adult Care Home Community Advisory Committee. The greater committee agreed to these nominations. Ali three candidates bring prior personal experience in working with seniors in a variety of other voluntary and/ or professional experience. • Thomas OLson has been providing free services to seniors during the tax season as a VITA volunteer through RSVP in Chapel Hill far several years. • Sandra Dove has an extensive history of volunteering with organizations such as Hospice, Loaves and Fishes and Food Drives for Homeless Persons, to name but a few. • Richard Grass brings a professional career as a Geriatric Social Worker and a member of a Nursing Home Care Review Board in Wapello County. He is also an active RSVP volunteer.
