BACKGROUND: There are three vacancies on the Animal Services Board. They are for the Town of Carrboro, Town of Chapel Hill and Certified Animal Handler/trainer/technician. The number four position became vacant due to the resignation of Rachel Beckham. CLAWS, Inc. is a state and federally licensed exotic animal rescue, wildlife rehabilitation and educational facility. Volunteer Experience: I have been a wildlife rehabilitator for over 20 years. I've also been one of the few fawn rehabilitators here in North Carolina for 3 years. I was a volunteer for The Carnivore Preservation Trust for 7 years and served on the board of Triad Exotic Animal Rescue for 2 years.
