PURPOSE: To consider collaborative efforts that members of the Hillsborough and Orange County
Boards of Commissioners may wish to explore or undertake.
BACKGROUND: This joint meeting provides an opportunity for the members of the two governing
boards to identify any issues or projects that they would like to suggest be considered as collaborative
efforts of the County and Town. No particular issues or projects are specifically up for discussion at this
meeting. County and Town staffs can develop additional information on any topics the Boards may wish
to pursue further.
RECOMMENDATION(S): As the Boards decide.
