--Restructure the public hearing process to allow a more reasonable period for citizen
review of the budget.
--Examine the relationship between the Health Department and school nursing programs.
--More fully explore time-limited vs. permanent positions.
--Delineate total cost of establishing firing range and contributions from other sources.
--Document thought-process in deciding not to fund certain outside agencies.
--Include relevant audit information, particularly pertaining to fund balance, in budget
documents from the county and both school systems.
--Examine expanding definition of domestic partners in county health and life insurance
coverage.
--Provide school budgets in identical format.
--Review policies on minimal school system fund balance.
