PURPOSE: To consider making new appointments to the Orange County Housing Authority.
BACKGROUND: According to the revised Bylaws of the Orange County Housing Authority, the
Orange County Board of Commissioners appoint all members of the Housing Authority Board to
include one member who is directly assisted by the Authority and one member who is the
Executive Director of the Authority.
To facilitate the appointment of new members the County has advertised for the remaining five
members of the Housing Authority Board and received five applications for the vacancy. All
applicants have been contacted and have agreed to serve on the Board. The applicants are
James O. Anderson, Jean Bolduc, Andrew Davenport, Martha Hoylman, and Jabrina Robinson.
Additionally, Tara L. Fikes and Patricia Muhammed are also recommended for appointment as
the Executive Director and resident board member respectively.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: None.
RECOMMENDATION(S): Consider making new appointments to the Orange County Housing
