The~oard met at the usual hour present Comaissioners,T Ed,Lawe,Ben F.Wilson and
Col ier Cobb.~7r The minutes of the August meeting v,era read and approved.
On otion it is hereby ordered that the C asrty pay to t:abel Neville X4.00 for one
hog killed by aogs. ~
A oad petition from Citizens of Little River Tewnship,to the State Highway Com-
mis~ion asking for a short road ruaning from the Buck Laws old home to the new South
Low.l Road in Durham Connty,ia hereby approved and to be delivered to the District i
Hig way ZCeeting at Hillsboro on September IIth.
The following resolution is adopted to wit: Whereas Section 7538 of the Revised Con-
sol'dated Statutes of North Carolina,rg~udre that a United States Flag and a State
F1 be displayed in the County Court rooms, and whereas the Superior Court Judges
of orth Carolina, has requested all Counties to purchase such flags, on motion cf
Co issioner Cobb duly seconded by Commmissioner ~7ilson the County Accountant is in-
atr oted to confer with the County Attorney and proceed t.o purchase such flags as ~
the sa}d statute rewires..
On otion, the Free Licensa groused to C.E Jordan to Peddle fruits and other product
is hereby extended for twelve months from September Ist I939.

and ordered filed in Report Boot No 4.
On notion of Commissioner Cobb duly seconded by Commissioner Wilson the County
Offi eXS/are given the germission to close at I.P.M,on each Saturday until Dec.Ist',3f
