While I support the decision to use Eubanks Road for the waste transfer station, I also believe that Orange County, Chapel Hill, and Carrboro owe a great deal to the Road community for having the landfill operations in their neighborhood for so long. During my time on the OWASA board, I made multiple enquiries into how sewer service could be provided to thi neighborhood and continue to watch for possibilities. I also pbelieve that my training in education can benefit this task force, since school based programs are another obvious area in which enhancements are needed.
