Other Comments: As one who uses the services of the Carrboro Parks and Rec on a regular basis, I think I may be a beneficial member of this board. I think that the Parks and Rec has a great selection of programs/activities offered to young children and retirees as well as all ages in between. I try to stay in tune with the issues that arise in association with the Parks and Rec of Carrboro. The commission for Women is a wonderful resource that can have an impact on so mayh different people in Orange County. As an advocate for womens rights, as well as an advocate for education on womens issues, I feel I would be a beneficial member for this committee.
