In accordance witht he provisions of the Comprehensive Crime Control Act of 1984 and on the basis of the grantee's application, the Department of Crime Control
and Public Safety hereby wards to the foregoing grantee an award in the amount above.
This grant is subject to the conditions listed in the grant application as well as all applicable rules, regulations and conditions, as my be reasonably prescribed by
the Department of Crime Control and Public Safety consistent with the purpose and authorization of P.L. 98-473. If special conditions have been applied to this
grant, they are attached to this award and indicated below.
This grant shall become effective, as of the date of award, upon return to the Department of Crime Control and Public Safety of three duplicate copies of this
award, properly executed on behalf of the grantee.

JUVENILE JUSTICE INTERVENTION GRANT AWARD
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
GRANTEE: County of Orange
GRANT TITLE: Restorative Justice Program
GRANT NUMBER: 068-1-98-007-R-063
1. Contracts must be approved by the Governor's Crime
Commission grants management director prior to
execution. Any funds incurred will be in violation of
the contract if they are incurred prior to approval.
Any rate over $450/day of $56.25/hr must be justified
in writing to the Governor's Crime Commission. All
sole source contracts in excess of $100,000 must receive
prior approval from the Bureau of Justice Assistance.
2. Positions created must be new and increase the agency
.staff by the number of positions requested.
3. Funds allocated to the personnel section of the budget
may not be transferred to another budget section. Unspent
personnel funds will be reverted.
4. Agencies whose grants include confidential/buy money
funds must read Appendix 7 "control and Use of
Confidential Funds" in the Office of Justice Programs
publication M-700 and sign a certification to abide
by the federal guidelines, prior to any use of
confidential/buy money funds. A copy of the guidelines
and agreement will be sent. to the project director.
