The Orange County Board of Commissioners met in joint session with the Orange
County Planning Board at ei~t o~clock p.m. on TTonday, August 27, 1873, in the
Superior Courtroom at tiie Courthouse in Hillsborough, N. C.
P£embers present: Chairman pIorman idalker, Commissioners Flora Garrett, Henry
5. tiJalker and Richard E. 412iitted.
P?embers absent: None
The County Administrator, S. M. Gattis, was present and in the absence of the
Clerk he took the minutes of the meeting.
This meeting was called fcr the purpose of conducting a Public Hearing on any
zoning matters.
Chairman Norman k~elker turned the Chair over to Charles Johnston, Chairman of
the County Planning k3oard. Chairman Johnston conducted the Public Hearing.

At the conclusion of the Public Hearing Chairman Johnstcn turned the Chair
back to Chairman b•lalker.
There being no Further business to come before the Boards the meeting was
adjourned.
