The Board of County Commissioners of Orange County met as a Board of
Equalization and Revisw at 7:30 P,M. in the District Courtroom in the Cour*,-
House in Hillsborough on Tuesday, I4ay'21, 1973.
Members Present: Chairman C, Norman Walker and Commissioners Henry S.
Walker, Sra A. Ward and Richard E, Whitt ed.
Members Absent: Commissioner Flora Garrott,
Bob Robbins, Project P4anager of the James Laird Company, was also present,
The Board of Equalization and Review heard the following cases:
1, John S, Williams, Chapel Hi11 Township, Tax Map 28, Lot 23,
2, William Lowery, Chapel Hill Tourpship, Tax Map 46-C-1,
3. E. C. McFarling, Chapel Hill Township, Tax Map 27-A-5 and 27_A_7,
4. Mrs. L. G, Phelps, Cedar Grove Township, Tax Map 5, Parcel 7,
5. Barry R, Breasher, Chapel Hill Township, Map 126-D-4 failed to appear for
an appointment set at 8:30 P,M.

At the conclusion of each case the Board advised the appellant that his
contentions concerning the value of the property in question would be taken
into consideration and he would be notified after the Board of Equalizations
and Review had reached its decision.
There being no further business the :meeting was adjourned.
