These representatives were invited to attend thiahmeeting as the program for the Council for the Aging way of mutual interest to each governmental unit. Considerable discussion ensued as ho:a a Council on the Aging would be organized and would function, The programs presently in effect in the Town of Chanel Hill was reviewed, Upon motion of Commissioner Ira A, Ward, seconded by Cammisaioner Richard E. ldh.itted, it was moved and adopted, Orange County would participate in a County-Wide Counail on the Aging and that it would support the program up to but not exceeding the amount of X3,000.00, There being no further business to come before the Board the meeting was adjourned, C.
