The Board of County Comm'l.saioners of Orange County met in adjourned
session at 1}:30 P.M, on Thursday, April 12, 1973, on the Burnside Property
near Hillsborough, North Carolina.
Members Present: Chairman C. Norman Walker, and Commissioners Henry S.
Walker, Tra A. Ward, Flora Garrett and Richard E. Whitted,
Members Absent: Nons (-
Miss Rebecca Wall, former owner of the Burnside property, showed the Board
of Commissioners through the house. Tire Board agreed to meet again on Monday,
April 16, 1973, in order to decide what disposition the County would make of
property that had been deeded to the Ccunty by Miss Wa11 for the purpose of
using said property as a library facility.
There be3.ng no further buainesa to come before the Board the meeting was
adjourned to meet again on Thursday, April 16, 1973.

MINUTES OF THE ORANGE COUNTY
BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
April 16, 1973
The Board of County Commissioners of Orange County met in adjourned session
at 8:00 o'clook P.M, on Monday, April 16, 1973, in the Superior Courtroom of
the Courthouse in Hillsborough, North Carolina.
Members Present: Chairman C. Norman Walker and Commiss~,anars Henry S. Walker,
Tra A. Ward and Richard E. Whitted.
Members Absent: Commissioner Flora Garrett.
Chairman Walker announced that this would be an Executive Session in order
that the Board might fully disausa the action that it would take relative to
establishing the Burnside property as a new Library facility. No detail minutes
of the discussion or the action of the Board were recorded due to the fact
that the meeting was an Executive Session.
There being no further business to come before the Board the mestxng wee
adjourned to meet again on Tuesday, April 17, 1973, at 8 P. M.
