The Board of County Commissioners of Orange County met in adjourned
session at 1~.:3Q P,M, on Thursday, April 12, 1973, on the Burnside Property
near Hillsborcugh, North Carolina.
- Members Pr®sent: Chairman C. Norman Walker, and Commissioners Henry S.
Walker, Ira A. Ward, Flora Garrett and Richard E. Whitted,
Members Absent: None ~-
Miss Rebecca Wall, former owner of the Burrside property, showed the Board
of Commissioners through the house. The Board agreed to meet again on Monday, '
April lb, 1973, in order to decide what disposition the County would make of I
property that had been deeded to the County by Miss Wall for the purpose of
using said property as a library facility.
There being no further business to some before the Board the meeting was ~
adjourned to meat again on Thursday, April 16, 1973.

BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
April 16, 1973
The Board of County Commissioners of Orange County met in adjourned session
- at 8:00 o'clock P.M. on Monday, April 16, 1973, in the Superior Courtroom of
the Courthouse in Hillsborough, North Carolina.
Members Present: Chairman C. Norman Walker and Commissioners Henry S. Walker,
"' Ira A. ward and Richard E. Whitted. ,
Members Absent: Commissioner Flora Garrett.
Chairman Walker announced that this would be an Executive Session in order
that the Board might fully discuss the action that it would take relative to
establishing the Burnside property as a new Library facility. No detail minutes
of the discussion or the action of the Board were recorded due to the fact ~
that the meeting was an Executive Session.
There being no further business to come before the Board the meeting wsa
adjourned to meet again on Tuesday, April 17, 1973, at 8 P. M.
