The Hoard of County Coaaaisaioners of Orange County met in adjourned session
on Thursday, January 13, 1972, in the Commissioners Room of the Courthouse 5.n
Hillsborough, North Carolina at 8:00 o~olock P.M.
I4embers Present: Chairman Harvey D. Bennett, and Commissioners William C,
Ray, Henry S. Walker, Ira A. Ward and C. Norman Walker.
I4embers Absent: None
Chairman. Bennett recognized Bob Robbins, Project Manager of the James
Laird Company. Mr. Robbins reviewed the property revaluation work hie company
was conducting in Orange County and he atresaed the value of rural properties.
There being no further business to come before the Board the meeting
was adjourned to meet again on Monday, January 17, 1972.

The Board of County Commissioners of Orange County met in adjourned session
on Monday, January 17, 1972, in the Commissioners Room of the Courthouse i.n
Hillsborough, North Carolina at 8:00 o~aloak P.M.
Members Present: Chairmaa Harvey D. Bennett, and Commiasionera William
C. Ray, Henry S. Walker, Tra A. «ard and C. Norman Walker.
Members Absent: None
Chairman Bennett recognized Bob Robbins and discussion an sued relative
to the urban land value and the single unit house value. Mr. Robbins was
asked to prepare and discuss commercial and industrial land values at the
February 1st Board meeting.
The'County_Admini~tratab'pr®setited a.: document entitled "Memorandum of
Understanding Hstween the North Carolina Agricultural FS~tension Service,
North Carolina State University and the I3oard of County Commissioners".
Chairman Bennett was authorized to sign said document.
There being na further buaineas to come before the Board the meeting was
adjourned.
