For Boards which are not state mandated, the Board has
endorsed a policy to limit the length of service to two three
year terms on the various boards and commissions on which
citizens are appointed. This time period will not include
required training programs. This will allow for mare
individuals to serve and for diversity of opinions. It will
also provide for conformity in the length and number of terms
for those boards and commissions that are not state mandated
with set terms.
